Tell us about your experience at Iconic Bride Dallas: My experience at Iconic Bride was nothing short of excellence. The team was so professional, savvy and effortlessly structured. I waltzed in there naively thinking I knew what I wanted (design, style, length) and I left with the dress of my dreams, which was a 180-degrees different than what I had originally planned. James and his team really had an eye for the details. One of the first questions they asked was to see a photo of the venue, we quickly decided that we needed a gown that would compete. It was a Nicole & Felicia winter 24' gown that wound up being the start of the show and let me tell you, she was large and in-charge. This was the dress of my dreams with a tight bust, long train, with decorative flowers and beading throughout - she was a stunner without question. The IBD team helped answer every question along the way, remained incredibly professional and communicative throughout the entire process which made (what should have been) an anxiety-inducing event, ever so effortless, and FUN! I joke to my husband that if we ever get divorced, the silver-lining would be to experience a dress fitting at Iconic Bride Dallas, again.
Tell us about your wedding!: Well the wedding was stunning, but the venue(s) selected did most of the work - I'll be honest. We decided to get married at San Galgano Abbey, which is a massive 1200's Monestary located just outside of Siena, IT., we chose this venue because it felt timeless, yet exuded this level of strength and fortitude - the vision for our marriage. The guests stayed at Borgo Santo Pietro which is a five-star Borgo located just down the road from the Abbey., this is where we held most of our events including our welcome party, our reception dinner and after-party. Borgo truly speaks for itself, this is a living-breathing fairytale of a location. If you haven't been, book a trip to Borgo Santo Pietro immediately, there is nothing like it on earth - the entire property spans over 300 acres and includes a working farm, vineyard, with 22 boutique and ever-so-elegant rooms, a Michelin star restaurant and a 2:1 staff to guest ratio that made each guest feel like royalty.
